What you see here is the most successful program in the history of Bank of Montreal. The job was to invite Bank of Montreal clients to visit their banker to discuss their financial needs. Inviting people to sit down over coffee seemed a good way to make the invitation more personal and friendly. By reducing attrition levels, this first mailing generated an astounding 4,000% ROI – unheard of, until then, for a Bank of Montreal program.
