Roy’s was looking for an agency to create a new brand to revitalize their restaurants by showing there’s more to them than just Hawaiian food. But without losing the Hawaiian flair. It was also fine dining that needed to feel affordable. High-end, but family-friendly. A mixed bowl – strategically. Adding to that, creatively, I also endeavored to give them something completely unique, memorable and immediately recognizable. Something simple and powerful that was extendable through all media. And the work needed to feature the dishes. All that and simple? Seems almost impossible.. until you see the work.
What you see here is the presentation work. Though I left the agency a short time later, the client immediately bought the concept and the work was eventually executed.
